Vertical blinds installed into a lounge
Here again is the same type of fabric, again this fabric you just can not beat. Here it compliments the colours - Blacks, greys, purples. The beauty with the vertical blind is that you can acheive such a fantastic finish and look, due to our palette of colours and finishes.

Vertical blinds installed into a conservatory

Here the vertical blinds were installed into a conservatory area, though you can have any type of blind installed into a conservatory, we would recommend on using vertical blinds, this is mainly for the overall look and feel, as well as supplying you with the greatest amount of flexibility.

Vertical blinds installed into a bedroom area

Here are some great looking vertical blinds installed into a bedroom, again the fabric has or did compliment the furnishing in both colour and finish, the fabric is a hard wearing fabric which we recommend to our customers, also it is of a thicker density, thus helping reduce glare and light penetration, though it is still a cheaper material, this is due to the fact that you are paying for the material rather than the pattern or finish.

What every your need is, no matter how many, Blindology can help you choose the correct fabric, material, finish and colour of your blinds.

Approved "BUY WITH CONFIDENCE" Scheme

Blindology are proud to announce that they have been approved for the Plymouth City Council and Trading Standards, approved scheme "Buy With Confidence".

The Buy with Confidence scheme has been formed to help local quality businesses who have given a commitment on trading fairly, this scheme is due to the fact that there are so many "rogue traders" both nationally and locally that the Trading Standards and Plymouth City Council have formed this scheme.

Businesses listed with in the scheme have been approved and have undergone checks to ensure quality in service.

Part of this scheme is also a current CRB check, along with other checks to ensure that the companies are customer focused and Trading Standards will be checking to ensure that all businesses with in the scheme keep up with the promise of being customer focused. Supplying quality services at realistic prices.

All companies that have signed up for the scheme are local small - medium sized businesses.

Just shows that you cant beat local family run businesses.

If it wasnt for blinds, it would be curtains for us!

The age old dilemma: What type of blind do I want?

The main things to consider are these:

Existing decoration: Have you plain or patterened wall paper, colour or pattern of curtains, carpet colour and pattern, etc, have a look around your area that you require blinds and see if the colour or pattern stands out with your decoration.

If you have mainly patterns then we would suggest perhaps stick to a plain blind, if you have plain decore then you can possibly have a plain or patterned blind.

What blind to have.

Well, one of the main functions of blinds is to be able to shade the light coming in to your area. This will help to protect your furniture and decore due to the harmfull rays of light entering your area, this WILL in time fade the colour and quite possibly make you furnishings frail.

Most blinds will infact help in this, to filter the harmfull rays BUT also let natural light in.

You could go for a vertical blind, very good at filtering light, due to the fact that the louvres will turn just under 360 degrees, thus enabling so much flexibility in filtering light. Also when the louvres are in the open position, they still let in just as much light as (dare i say it!) Net curtians!

Privacy: Yes this is another main concern, this depends on the fabric or material that you choose, obviously we all need privacy in our homes, so we would recommend using a good quality material, so that no reflections or shadows we be visible from outside, or you could perhaps go for a blackout or dimout material. Again the choice is yours.

Colour:
Well we have over 350 various colours to choose from just in our vertical blind collection, whether you require pastel shades or something big and bright. There will be a colour or pattern to suit you.

The main thing is to get as much advice as possible, some situations you may not be able to have the blind you want, this could be due to the type of window you have.

But, all you would need to do is Contact us at Blindology window Blinds Plymouth: CLICK HERE
