Blinds: What type of blinds are available.

Well lets first start at the beginning.

Different types of blinds that are available;

Vertical blinds.
Venetian blinds.
Roller blinds.
Pleated blinds.
Skylight window blinds.
Roman Blinds.

As with any type of system, the main charateristics of a blind is, to aid in shading, privacy, finish or dress a window.

All the types of blinds have various pro's and con's, i.e a vertical blind is suitable for most areas, it will give you the user the most flexible option in shading and privacy. You can install a vertical blind into any area, whether that be a wet room or conservatory. The main thing you must considers is that the louvres (fabric/PVC/wood or metal) will require room to turn a full 360 degrees, this is one of the draw backs with the vertical blind.
